I’ve always admired the actor Will Smith, and this assortment of quotes and video clips from him sums up the reason why. I think it’s good advice for parents and students. What can we do to make the world a better place?
One of the silliest and most annoying comments made to homeschooling parents is, “Aren’t you concerned about how your child will be able to socialize with others?”.
Having an open mind is not a goal or an end in itself. An open mind is also not itself a perfection; rather, it is a mind that is still searching — searching for objective truth, which is the true object of the intellect.
