One of the silliest and most annoying comments made to homeschooling parents is, “Aren’t you concerned about how your child will be able to socialize with others?”.
Having an open mind is not a goal or an end in itself. An open mind is also not itself a perfection; rather, it is a mind that is still searching — searching for objective truth, which is the true object of the intellect.
